Whether its a hot new date, a long time romance, or a galentine’s kind of night, putting a Valentine’s Day look together can be tricky. There’s a fine line between being be too cheesy and being the anti Valentine’s Day sore loser. While reds and pinks will always be classic, they aren’t the only way to add a little Vday touch to your look.
My Valentine’s Day Look
For my Valentine’s Day look this year, I found this super cute Kill Em With Chic Heart Tee Tee. Its a little bit sassy, a little bit classy, and best of all, supports a good cause (a portion of all proceeds go to Susan G Coleman Breast Cancer Foundation).
My style tends to gravitate towards basics and neutrals so a white tee is right up my alley, especially when the sleeves are long enough to roll up. I paired it with leather leggings, black suede pumps, and a boyfriend blazer.
Since I don’t wear much color, I mix textures to add depth to my outfits. This made the leather leggings and suede pumps a no brainer. The boyfriend blazer tones down both the leather and the high heels for a more cool girl look. I finally polished the outfit off with a statement necklace and black chain purse, just to add a little bit of spice.
I love this look because it works for dinner, a club, house party, nice bar – pretty much any event. No matter where your night takes you, you’ll be styling.
Tip: Add a red lip if you’re bolder than I am 🙂
