You guys, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! Today is actually my third Thanksgiving dinner this week and I’m not complaining at all. Its my all time favorite holiday. Since moving to California, I’ve really learned to appreciate these moments. I mean, what’s better than eating delicious food and spending quality time with your friends and family?! I was originally going to post a holiday look I shot with Ramsey for some outfit inspo, but smart me (SmArta ;)) left my hard drive in SF. So instead, I’ll be sharing 3 stylish and comfortable looks for the holidays. Rock these looks for your Thanksgiving dinner today or to any upcoming holiday party.
Layered Midi Dress
Thanksgiving is all about leaving room for the food baby. Repurposing a midi dress is the perfect way to do so. Feel free to grab your favorite floral summer dress or a simple velvet slip and layer it over a long sleeve tee or turtle neck. Top your look off with a pair of booties and a leather jacket for an edgy AF outfit.
Oversized Sweater + Jeggings
There is one time of year, every single year, where jeggings are completely acceptable. That time is now. This famous holiday duo is a go-to for me. It’s what I’ll be wearing today. Nothing is as liberating as a sweater that fits 2 of you and a pair of pants soft enough to be PJs. A baker boy cap, wool coat, and pair of sock booties will elevate and polish off this cozy AF look.
Dress + OTK Boots
Over The Knee (OTK) Boots make it easy to wear dresses, no matter how cold it is. If you’re in mild climate, opt for a long sleeve wrap dress. For my ladies in the Tundra aka NYC, like me, grab your favorite sweater dress. Another pro tip for cold weather: layer a tank under your dress with spandex shorts or a pair of stockings!
